I have been feeling really bad lately and wondering if symptoms could be caused by high blood sugar?

I have for the past 2 weeks been really dizzy and shaky on the inside and seeing floaters and my legs are really heavy like its hard to move them. My brother in law checked my sugar and it was 161 but…. I had ate some potato candy about one hour earlier and its nothing but sugar. Checked my blood pressure and it was 111 over 88 so it was fine. I hate going to doctors shew does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like you are yo-yoin’, bouncing.

You eat a high glucemic index food, like potato candy =) Your Pancreas shots out mega insulin to combat this volume of sugar. But misses by just a jot.

Over runs the sugar into a low Blood sugar, great huh?

Sooo, Test, Eat Potato Candy, Test, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, hours after consuming, sometimes it takes longer, sorry…Check to see if you dip down.

It won’t always happen, only when you pancreas is being a problem.
Mine didn’t kick-it till…I was entering my 20’s. But then it was easier to control my Brittle Diabetes dx’d ten years earlier.

You could do a Glucose test, but fasting is a pain. Being a hidden disease, if your Pancreas isn’t on the blink it won’t show..

Good luck, It is the best "do it yourself" disease there is?

I know that for my diabetes, when I’m low and I eat a snack or drink a sugary drink, I will still feel low for ~ an hour to two after getting my bloodsugar up, so I have to be careful and take it slow otherwise, it’ll shoot way up. like about 30 minutes ago my bloodsugar was 37, and so I drank some sweet tea, I still feel low but it’s 78 [just 2 under my tolerance range] so it’ll prolly go up a bit more soon but I’ll still keep feeling low for awhile longer just give it time. and keep paying attention to what’s happenin
