can high blood sugar cause you to fluk a breathuliser test?

i had 2 drinks 1 at about 8pm and the other around11pm about 20 min before i left the birthday party i was at . i`m a diabetic and my blood sugar haws over530 and i know with that high of sugar my body puts off acetone’s so does that mess with the machine you blow in too? i blow a.12 – .13

No, it won’t, however, ketoacidosis may inhibit the enzymes from properly metabolizing the alcohol. Unless you weigh 75 pounds or so, I am dubious of the amount of alcohol you say you drank. How big were those drinks?

    you can i think… i know you can definitely smell of alcohol. Ketoacidosis i think the name is when your body starts to do that.

    But if your blood sugar was really over 530, which i dont know hoiw thats possible, go to the ER or something
