To all of you atheists, Christians, other religions, or anyone!?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Natural cure for Diabetes | 12 Comments »

Okay, well, here it goes: Unfortunately, too many people don’t believe that there is a cure for any disease out there. Yes, terminal illness, cancer, diabetes, AIDS and HIVs, herpes, warts, flues, heart disease, and any other ailment can be healed. I posted this in the R and S section because I feel that the Western Cultures (who most believe in Christianity) don’t want us to know about these cures. Why? Look at this in the perspective of the FDA, the American Cancer Society, or your local medical community. Natural cures are not pattenable, because they involve the power of the human mind, thus, the human mind cannot be sold. If the public knew that terminal disease can be healed through mind, no one would pay for expensive chemotherapy treatments or any type of medication, thus, we would put the medical community out of business. Doesn’t that seem logical?

Not convinced? A placebo effect is when a placebo (sugar pill, or anything that appears to not have any effect on an
Illness, is administered to a patient. The patient, who believes he is given the proper treatment, takes the pill with the belief he will be healed. About 50% of the time, the pill works. A placebo injection works about 75% of the time. The people who don’t become healed through this method simply don’t believe they will be healed. It’s that simple.

Still not convinced? Morris Goodman, featured in several inspirational films and speeches, healed himself back in the 80’s. He crashed an airplane, his diaphram was destroyed, his spine shattered, and he was told he was never going to walk again by so called “doctors”. The Christmas that same year, he walked out of the hospital, walking clumsly and breathing on his own. He credits this achievement through the power of his mind. I quote from his “The only thing I had to work with in the hospital was my mind, and once you have your mind, you can put things back together again.”
Are you still not convinced?? Okay, well, the most convincing thing to me was my own experiences. I have healed myself from the imaginable. Your own experiences will take you to the next level, and your strong belief that you can do anything makes any person, a strong person. Play around with your mind. If you have an illness, look up mind power of the internet and get into it. Once you heal yourself, I hope you will announce this to other people, as I am doing to you.

My mission is to inform others in life, so we may all serve God well and wholly.

Outlaw, tell me why.
Demtri, show me the facts, because I’ve shown you.
Mortgage, we are in the image and likeness of God, therefore we can heal ourselves.
Shonuff, the point is not if they understand it, the point of the placebo is if they believe it will heal them. And I don’t see any sources from you that gives these statistics.
Well, no one has given me enough proof yet to discredit my question.
wes, you have some truth, but the fact about the spine doesn’t matter. He might have had surgery, but the doctors said he could never eat again…meaning, surgery would not help his swallowing reflex. He does eat now, (obviously), so that just proves my point once more. Any other people trying to disprove me?
Paul, if you are going to use the word "anecdote" in a sentence, use it correctly. Anecdote is a personal account of something. If it was Morris Goodman’s account of something (his perspective) than it can only be true to him. Thus, we need to learn how to make this same perspective true to us.
Slycotto, so undergo your own healing! If you don’t want to take evidence from someone else, do it yourself! Don’t sit on you butt and say something’s not true just because you are in a bad mood or nonsense of the like.
Everyone, it is my best interest to help. If you don’t want help, fine, stay brainwashed. It’s not my problem. I’m just trying to help.

It’s evident that most Christians agree with my theory, and most atheists will oppose it.

Just shows you how close-minded atheists are.
Wood uncut, just because science can’t prove it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Scientists have discovered a lot of things they said that didn’t exist, and later found out that they did, or a form of it did. Same with vice versa. They say something exists, and years later, scientists find out that it didn’t afterall.
Paul, I like how you extracted my definition of antecdote from the main context. Good job of covering it up man, good job. I find you no different than a lot of other people in my life.

Spam.

Anecdotes are not evidence.

Whenever you find yourself tempted to type "so called" in one of your posts, you should close down immediately, shut off the computer, and go do something else. The phrase "so called" is a guaranteed sign of an incoherent rant (others are "Wake up, America!!!", and "You can’t prove it’s NOT true!").

You wrote:

In short, you’re closed-minded about this, and proud of it.

"Paul, if you are going to use the word "anecdote" in a sentence, use it correctly. Anecdote is a personal account of something."

Which is exactly how I used it, kid. Just look at what I wrote (above).

"It’s evident that most Christians agree with my theory, and most atheists will oppose it. Just shows you how close-minded atheists are."

LOL. Nope – saying so just further demonstrates your closed-mindedness about this. Repeating back my points is just feeble – a thin attempt to hide the fact that you don’t have anything, and you’re not willing to think about this.

How do you lower blood sugar levels when they are bouncing from normal to high?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Lowering blood sugar | 7 Comments »

I have been told that I am a borderline diabetic and my sugar level should not go over 120. It is ranging from 130-190. Is there anything I can do to lower it a little so that it will reduce the yucky side effects. Nausa, dizzyness, headache, drymouth. Thank you for any and all help.

Actually the side effects are because your body is used to running at such high levels and you are starting to get them down. I was running at like 290 for a while and when I got down to 140 I felt like I was going to passout. But eventually my body got used to running at the lower blood sugar levels and now I range from 80 to 130. I would say keep a food diary. Anything you eat or drink keep track of and test your blood sugar levels before you eat or drink and 2 hours after. If you see a major jump in your levels then something you just eat or drank is effecting you. Over time you will learn what food effect you more. Common things are *high sugar/carb foods and drinks, or items with high fat content*. Pizza, soda and fries are the worst for me, but Chilli seems to effect me just as bad as a soda. I have learned to pick items that don’t effect my blood sugar as much and keep a balance. If I want a soda I don’t get the pizza or fries and go with a salad and fish instead. You don’t have to cut things out completely just learn to eat balanced meals and learn what effects you the most.

Try keeping your food diary for a week testing before you eat and 2 hours after. Keep track of everything from what you drink to those chips you snacked on between lunch and dinner. You will be suprised just what effects you most, I was.

Is there a cure around the corner for type 2 diabetes?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Cure for Type 2 Diabetes | 8 Comments »

just curious

I take exception to the answer that says it’s not reversible. It absolutely is. I’m living proof… along with thousands of others who have adopted the natural foods and daily exercise lifestyle. Maybe not in every single case, but in most cases, it is.

I was taking Metformin for years and watching helplessly as my blood sugar numbers slowly worsened despite the medication, a low carb diet, and daily exercise. Once I found the right combination of nutrients, my blood sugar numbers plummeted and I was able to quit all medication. That was a year and a half ago. My numbers are still absolutely normal. One might even say that I’m cured. I won’t, though. I really don’t think it would be wise to become so complacent, that I would be tempted to go back to the old lifestyle. I have far more energy and feel great at 57. I’m not going to give that up.

Sure, there’s a genetic component, but it’s mainly a disease of poor diet and sedentary lifestyle. One need look no further than those who live in the rural areas of South America, Africa, and Asia where they eat a primarily raw fruits and vegetables diet and enjoy plenty of physical activity. The incidence of diabetes there is practically unheard of.

So, the answer to your question is, "yes and no". As long as people follow the path of too many refined carbs, not enough natural foods, and sedentary lifestyle, there will always be type two diabetes. Regardless of what modern medicine comes up with… they have no interest in a cure. They’re making billions off of us now. Why would they want to give that up?? Meanwhile, thousands of us have found our way off the drugs with high nutrient, low refined carb, natural foods based diets along with plenty of daily exercise. Trust me, the AMA, FDA, big pharma, Con Agra, Kraft and all the rest of those profiting off of our naivete, aren’t going to support a revolution of going back to basics any time soon.

When will they find the cure for Diabetes? (Type 1)?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Cure for Type 1 Diabetes | 8 Comments »

I have had diabetes for almost 5 years now and its getting old… When are they supposed to discover the cure? Are they at least close???

Never !! The drug companies make so much profit from diabetes that they would be silly to find a cure. Period. >

High blood pressure + diabetes… Please, help?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Diabetes natural remedies | 2 Comments »

My Dad has high blood pressure and diabetes…
His BP is rising…
Does anyone know any natural remedies for lowering BP quick? Please, help us :(

Hypertension or high blood pressure, as it is more commonly known, is regarded as a silent killer. It is a disease of the modern age. The fast pace of life and the mental and physical pressures caused by the increasingly industrialised and metropolitan environments have a role to play in the rise in blood pressure. Blood pressure is measured with an instrument called sphygnomanometer in millimetres of mercury. The highest pressure reached during each heart beat is called systolic pressure, and the lowest between two beat is known as diastolic pressure. Most young adults have blood pressure around 120/80. It increases normally with age, even going upto 160/90.

High Blood Pressure treatment using Garlic

Garlic is regarded as an effective means of lowering blood pressure. It is said to reduce spasms of the small arteries. It also slows down the pulse rate and modifies the heart rhythm, besides relieving the symptoms of dizziness, numbness, shortness of breath, and the formation of gas within the digestive tract. It may be taken in the form of raw cloves or two to three capsules a day.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Indian Gooseberry

Indian gooseberry is another effective remedy for high blood pressure. A tablespoon each of fresh indian gooseberry juice and honey mixed together should be taken every morning in this condition.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Lemon

Lemon is also regarded as a valuable food to control high blood pressure. It is a rich source of vitamin P which is found both in the juice and peel of the fruit. This vitamin is essential for preventing capillary fragility.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Grapefruit

Grapefruit is useful in preventing high blood pressure. The vitamin P content in the fruit is helpful in toning up the arteries.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Watermelon

Watermelon is another valuable safeguard against high blood pressure. A substance extracted from watermelon seeds is said to have a definite action in dilating the blood vessels, which results in lowering the blood pressure. The seeds, dried and roasted, should be taken in liberal quantities.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Rice

Rice has a low-fat, low-cholesterol, and low-salt content. It makes a perfect diet for those hypertensive persons who have been advised salt-restricted diets. Calcium in brown rice, in particular, soothes and relaxes the nervous system and helps relieve the symptoms of high blood pressure.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Potato

Potatoes, specially in boiled form, are a valuable food for lowering blood pressure. When boiled with their skin, they absorb very little salt. Thus they can form a useful addition to a salt-free diet recommended for patients with high blood pressure. Potatoes are rich in potassium but not in sodium salts. The magnesium present in the vegetable exercises beneficial effects in lowering blood pressure.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Parsley

Parsley is very useful in high blood pressure. It contains elements, which help maintain the blood vessels, particularly, the capillaries. It keeps the arterial system in a healthy condition. It may be taken as a beverage by simmering 20 gm of fresh parsley leaves gently in 250 ml of water for a few minutes. This may be drunk several times daily.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Rauwolfia

Among the herbs, rauwolfia is the best remedy for high blood pressure. Alkaloids of this drug, which have a direct effect on hypertension, have been isolated and are being widely used by practitioners of modem medicine, but they have certain unpleasant side-effects which the drug, taken in raw form, does not have. Practitioners of the Indian system of medicine have, therefore, preferred to use the root of the drug in a powdered from. Half a teaspoon of this drug, taken thrice a day, is very effective in hypertension.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Vegetable Juice

Raw vegetable juices, especially carrot and spinach juices, taken separately or in combination, are also beneficial in the treatment of high blood pressure. If taken in combination, 300 ml of carrot juice and 200 ml of spinach juice should be mixed to make 500 ml or half a litre of the juice, and taken daily. If taken separately, one glass should be taken twice daily, morning and evening.
High Blood Pressure treatment using Dietary Calcium and Potassium

Recent studies have revealed an important link between dietary calcium and potassium and hypertension. Researchers have found that people who take potassium-rich diets have a low incidence of hypertension even if they do not control their salt intake. They have also found that people with hypertension do not seem to get much calcium in the form of dairy products. These two essential nutrients seem to help the body secrete excess sodium and are involved in important functions which control the working of the vascular system. Potassium is found in abundance in fruit

Stem cell. cure all diseases and reproduce the next generation of people to suffer with the same diseases?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Natural cure for Diabetes | 1 Comment »

I may seem to have a lack of compassion but i ask what is worse? cure all STDs and allow viruses to mutate into a worse disease? cure all genetic diseases and reproduce the next generation of cancer or diabetes? Inject fetus cells and regrow limbs like reptiles? Genetically engineer your DNA and hide behind the false image of man? MADNESS!! 900 billion people have lived and died on this planet but you cant except the inevitable death?? I fear that human devolution is real with humans enabling natural selection. think of all the movies of human devolution. planet of the apes, time machine, ideocrazy, all horror and vampire movies, 50% of TV etc etc… I pray gods intelligent design of life will not allow this man made horror.

What you are missing here is that most people dont want to avoid death with the research (and the ones who do are extremist outliers).

What you are missing is that the people this research can help are going to live another 50 years with or with out the research or treatments it provides. The difference the research will make is that it will allow them to lead healthy and productive lives instead of being in pain, debilitated, unable to work, and living off tax money.

If you cant understand that it would be better for joe blow to be able to go to work and support himself and have a productive life (better for everyone) than living in a bed collecting disability all his life, then perhaps you are the one making the mistake.

I encourage you to confine yourself to a wheel chair for a month. Tape your legs down and your hands down. The only thing you can move is your head. You are healthy other than the fact that you cant move. You are still going to live the whole month, just unable to be productive. THEN tell me helping these people is a bad thing.

causes for high blood sugar besides diabetes?

December 31st, 2009 -- Posted in high blood sugar | 4 Comments »

I recently had a fasting glucose test and my sugar was 109. My doctor says I am pre-diabetic. I am in shock since I excercise daily, eat only whole grains, veggies and fruit, nver drink sodas or eat fast food and am actually underwieght(105 lbs). Does anyone know of other reasons for the high level? I have been under stress lately from fear of losing my job. Could this cause the rise?

I wonder what the doctor thinks of someone who has a reading of 126, like me, and I am not diabetic?

109 is not that high.

A better way to check is a A1c test, it ives you a indication of what your sugar levels have been doing over the past 3 months or so. If that reading is over 7.5% then you are diabetic, while under 6% you are not diabetic, and in between you may be pre-diabetic.

I guess your doctor could say the whole world is either diabetic or "Pre-diabetic" in that they all have a chance of getting it some day. I would think a reading over 130 would be considered pre-diabetic, while a reading as low as yours would not be considered diabetic at all (with a supporting normal A1c test).

One test on one morning is not a great indication of your health. Perhaps if they took one test each monday for a month, then you will have an idea of your total health.

what kind of virus’ cause gastroparisis?

December 29th, 2009 -- Posted in Natural cure for Diabetes | 1 Comment »

I was recently diagnosed with gastroparisis after two years of hell, my doc. and I decided it wasn’t because of diabetes (because I don’t have it) but he also said that it could have been caused by a viral infection and so did my research but neither of the two has any specifics. Does anyone know what it might have came from? Food poisoning maybe? I don’t know. Oh and one more thing, any natural cures for it? My pills aren’t working and I don’t want to try the other pills because of the recent lawsuit. Thanks!

Does insulin raise or lower blood sugar?

December 29th, 2009 -- Posted in Lowering blood sugar | 4 Comments »

Easy question for diabetics lol.
Does insulin raise your blood sugar or lower it?
When should you take it?

Thanks!

The question about when you should take it depends on what type of insulin you’re taking and what else war prescribed. Insulin is produced by the pancreas normally, but the pancreas can shut down or fail completely. If it hasn’t stopped producing insulin completely, you may still have to take insulin, but monitor your blood sugar more closely. If you are taking "R", then half an hour or so before eating is recommended as well as when your blood sugar reading reaches a certain level. Check with your doctor to determine what reading he or she wants this done at. Some diabetics reach highs and lows without insulin, so it’s important to know your range and conditions. If you’re taking "N", you should take it about 3, but no more than 4 hours before eating. It has an additive which causes a time-release affect. You should be asking your doctor or nurse-practicioner for help with this and any other questions you have about the condition. Good luck.

can type 2 diabetes be cured?

December 29th, 2009 -- Posted in Cure for Type 2 Diabetes | 8 Comments »

i read some where type 2 diabetes can be cured is it true?
when you think since the kidney is still working and the body can produce insulin then why wouldn’t you be able to cure it …..

i heard type 1 is the one youre screwed if you have it

Can Type-2 Diabetes be Cured
A cure for type-2 diabetes depends on what your definition of cure is. By that I mean that if you think you will ever take a pill, an injection, or have beta cells implanted and then go back to an unhealthy life style and not suffer the complications, that is not going to happen. In this discussiion I am talking about insulin resistance caused diabetes. If you believe that the underlining cause can be reversed and with an altered life style, you can live a healthy, long life in the non-diabetic ranges that is possible today.
