I’m on the fence. …
I’m on the fence. I can wake up at 11am and watch movies for like 5 hours and not drink or eat and not really have the symptoms you describe.
Yet when I eat too much I do notice frequent urination and light, light sweat.
I guess I just need a glucose meter at home.
Whats the range on an empty stomach and after a meal? How long after a meal should I test the sugar?
Thanks!

OK when I had high …
OK when I had high blood sugars I didn’t feel like the way this guy feels. Half the time you couldn’t get me out of bed because I was sleeping all the time. I drank so much water I felt like I was going to burst. Years of letting the sugar go up have damaged my eyes to where I have to wear glasses and that I went into DKA. It is not worth it to let your sugars get high.

I haven’t had big issues yet with my eyes. I try to get them checked regularly, and I do wear glasses for somethings. I’ve been lucky. I don’t really get the Blurred vision with my High Blood Sugars like some do.

sweet vid man! I’m an eighteen yr old diabetic and ive had it for ten years, and over that time, my blood sugar has given me some real .
Whenever it goes high, i lose my sense of smell completely. Next, my legs and arms tighten up. I think its cuz im into lifting weights and stuff. Any more though, i either have really high highs or really low lows and it never seems to stop. in the last month i hit a new low of eleven and only God knows how high its gotten. Thank for the connections.

Thanks happy for …
Thanks happy for another great explaination..
I realized some symptoms in the end that I didn’t realize had to do with b/s. They usually give you a list at the doctors, but it’s not all encompassing. For example, they don’t talk much about that mood swing thing, and I feel like I’m going crazy. Didn’t even realize that not sleeping was one. I don’t sweat much, but hey not everything is the same for all diabetics. Thanks again for an encouraging and thoughtful video! Best of luck!

I’ve noticed the same.
My highs and lows can have the same shakes and sweat (Wierd but I have noticed if I sweat from above my forehead is usually a high)
The BIG difference is how the LOWS feel. I explain in my other video on Lows how you get a funny feeling in your stomach. That never happens to me with High.
Thank you for your comment and insight
