her body may not be giving her enough insulin to keep her blood sugar at normal levels. You should really discuss this with a specialist or her doctor. Having high blood sugar constantly will wreak havoc on her.

Is 150 really that high? I suppose it could be if acceptable ranges for newborns differ from acceptable ranges for adults, but 150 is with in an acceptable healthy range for adults. That range is about 80-120 fasting and 120-180 after eating. Do the acceptable levels differ for babies?

If you’re using formula, that may be a contributing factor to a high blood sugar. Formula is more or less still just milk and sugar/corn syrup that has been fortified. Breast milk has a better sugar level for babies and contains sugars that babies are better able to process and handle.

Feeding on a schedule and spreading her feeds out too much can cause drops and spikes in her blood sugar. You can help her keep her blood sugar level steady by feeding her more frequently. When she goes too long between feedings, her blood sugar will start to dip, then since she is so hungry she will be taking in a lot of "sugar" at once, which can cause it to spike.

She might be diabetic. I would get her tested for that. Good luck and I hope they can resolve it for your baby.
