If I can no longer afford metformin, is there a way to control blood sugar for diabetes?
Exercise is the best substitute for Metformin.Metformin increases the insulin(already existing in your body)to go into cells .Metformin does not stimulate production of insulin.Exercise also facilitates insulin transmission into cells.Exercise is good for the body in several other ways.Even if you do not lose weight, exercise improves insulin utilisation.Advice to all diabetics–Try diet and exercise first.Drugs only if diet and exercise fail.
